• Turning Memories Into Poetry

  Confessional poetry is not the style I would have chosen for myself. But having learned the hard way that self-censorship doesn’t work, I’ve also learned blurting doesn’t either. Memories have to be turned into good poems. Here’s the first draft of one of them: The Consolation of Birds
